What’s the best security suite for my computer. I’ve had everything(viruses, keyloggers, spware, adware, worms, etc.) in my computer and I want one the will protect from them, and if necessary, remove them from my computer. Very, very good updated definnitions would be good and scans shouldn’t be too slow or computer-resource using(e.g. Norton). It doesn’t matter how much it costs so….Anybody know any software suite like that?

why pay money for what you can do for free? AVG – great anti virus software and they have a free version. ZoneAlarm – free firewall, best free one available. Adware – great free utility for removing all kinds of adware. Spybot – great for removing all kinds of spyware (and free, of course). go to http://www. downloads. com and you can find all of these programs there by searching for them in the search box. I highly recommend AVG. Free, and they are constantly updating the definitions in the program. I’ve always hated Norton security. . . eats up system resources like crazy.
Check with your Internet provider. Road Runner provides free to its users CA. If your running XP or above you probably have free versions that just need to be set to auto update. I personally do not like Mckaffe, whatever. I like Norton, I love my Computer Associates. I love my CA firewall. Works like a charm. I run wireless at the house and work. Once I finished programming it from the pop-ups, takes a while and is kind of a pain, I have not seen any lag time in months. Set to run at night and leave your computer on. Most applications have therefore run a background feature So that while your surfing or saving or calculating, it sleeps. When you stop at a site to read, it kicks in to high gear and does what it can.
I RECOMED windows defender, It allows you too see all curently running programs and all startup progams. THis Allows to to stop and remove any unwanted software
