Scan your PC witht hese to remove it. Both are free and safe to use. Spybot – Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behavior to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you have not intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been “hijacked” (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you do not see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S & D is free. http://www. spybot. info / http: / / SuperAntiSpyware. com / SuperAntiSpyware is the most thorough scanner on the market. Our Multi-Dimensional Scanning and Process Interrogation Technology will detect spyware that other products miss! SUPERAntiSpyware will remove ALL the Spyware, NOT just the easy ones! Easily remove pests such as over 100.000 SmitFraud, Vundo, WinFixer, SpyAxe, SpyFalcon, WinAntiVirus, AntiVermins and thousands more!

You’re going to have to run some scans to get at the root of your problem. It may be malware, spyware, tracking cookies or viral or a combination of these on your system These are all free and I have used all of them with success: Ad-Aware (persona); CCleaner, SpywareBlaster, Spybot Search & Destroy . Depending upon your OS, Windows then offers a scan for computer functions on their home site. So I would run a panda scan and check out your system’s functionality with an online scan from PCTools. Those should get you started. Let me know if you have trouble or if you need help. You can email me. Good luck.
It sound like you have a trojan (fake program) and installed anti-virus software can not remove it because it is a program and not a virus. You need to identify the trojan by using Task Manager (press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and click on the Applications tab). You then need to scroll down and do a Google search for the process eg badboy. exe. Then do a Google search to find out how to remove it. This may require several programs.
Sounds like your computer may have a new variant of the ubiquitous Smitfraud infection. Almost all “general purpose”, “all in one” spyware and virus removal programs such as AVG, Norton, or Spybot S & D can not remove it. Free Smitfraud removal tool is here: http://siri. urz. free. fr / Fix / SmitfraudFix_En. php
well you can try ad-aware but more than likely its a program that will want you to buy a program that will remove the first program (in other words they want you to buy the fix for a program that they installed and want you to pay to have them remove the program) I would suggest booting into safe mode (F8 on bootup) before running ad aware, if you can find out the name of the executable, I can probably find you some instructions on removing itdougc
Hmm, you seem to have a very stubborn spyware program (s). Try this: 1 First, check to see if the program has an uninstaller. Go to Start> Control Panel> Add / Remove Programs> scroll down until you see the program> click [Remove]. This is a longshot but it never hurts to try. 2nd There are many good free anti-spyware programs. However, they are not on par with the paid commercial brands. Webroot SpySweeper and PC Tool’s Spyware Doctor’s have consistently been shown to detect and remove more than 90% of spyware. You can compare that to free anti-spyware programs: Windows Defender (65%), Ad Aware (55-60%) and Spybot (<50%). If you do decide to use the free programs, be sure to install more than one – better yet, install three. No single program catches all spyware, however, what one misses the other catches and a vice-versa. 3rd Install the antispyware program. Update it. Restart your computer but go in to safe mode. In safe mode, scan your computer with your anti-spyware program (s). Be sure to quarantine any suspicious files. (Note: some experts advise people to turn off Windows XP’s System Restore feature). 4th Restart your computer normally. Scan your computer again. 5th Anti spyware programs are not any good if you do not know how to use them. Here are some tutorials: 1 Using Spybot (http://www. Download. Com/1200-2023_4-5157526. Html) 2 Ad Aware (download http://www com/How-to-use-Ad-Aware/1200-2023_4-5157520 html tag = morehowto…?) Note: If the above fails to solve your problem then you need to use the big guns. Please read this article from PC World magazine on how to remove stubborn spyware: “How to Free Your PC From SpywareUse these cheap and no-cost tools to boot even really stubborn malware.” – Written by Steve Bass, PCWorld. com (http://www. pcworld. com / article / id, 129785/article. html)
