how can i stop my browser from redirecting me sites that i dont want? is it a spyware problem?

   Yup. . . It’s definitely malware! Malwarebytes, Spybot will all work. If not, get AVG or Avast Free.

   No problem, those are easy to remove. Its a web hijacker of some kind or just an adware. Both can be cleaned by anti spyware programs without any significant problems. I will give you a list of free anti-spyware tools? Malwarebytes anti malware? SUPERAntiSpyware? Spyware Terminator? Windows Defender? Ad-Aware SE? Spybot Search & Destroy? HijackThisI `d give special attention to the first three programs listed. SUPER has to extensive scanning, it scans everything. Every bit. Spyware Terminator and Windows Defender are known for their aggression when removing and HijackThis is extremely useful for removing their registry entries. When everything else fails, HijackThis might solve the problem. Especially if combined with ComboFix. However that tool is not advised to novice computer users.
