My computer has spyware on it I think. It came from either myspace or facebook. Idk. And I have no idea how to get rid of it. I have Trend Micro antivirus stuff, and I have it scanning the computer, but I don’t think it’s helping. I can’t even open any programs aside from Firefox. IE doesn’t even work. Everything is apparently infected. Dx I was watching a movie and this all just came out of nowhere. >< Whatever it is, it’s posing as antivirus software. And I’ve been denying all its attempts to “fix” my problem. It’s called AV Security Suite. I don’t know if that’s a real program or not, but it just magically put itself on my computer. It’s not in my programs list. How do I get rid of this?
Hi i sugest you do a full reinstall of your hard disk back to the initial load date this is the best way to get rid of attacks and start from scratch
Yes, AV Security Suite is a bogus piece of software, and you need to remove it first. See links in the Source section below. Next, go to Kaspersky security site, and download the trial version. It will tell you if you have any other problems. Kaspersky is rated by many as the best package on the market, better than Norton, McAfee, AVG, etc. I have had all these at one time or another, Kas and found to be the best of all http://www. kaspersky. com /
trojan / virus = anti virus software:) dodgy cookies & files = intrusive spyware malware. Use a spyware remover, such as ‘Ad-aware’. . that’s a very good one with a light interface. Or Microsoft them self-do a good one too but it’s a bit heavy on system resources. . use Task Manager (ctrl alt delete) to shut the program down at it’s source. then install ad-aware and remove it. Don # t use Kapersky. . You do not need to download anything. There are very good online virus programs that can be of assistance. I very much reccommend ‘house call trend micro’ (just google it). Furthermore, a system restore utility will not do much good other than stress the lady out and long the problem out. / This procedure will not remove the problem. This is all you need to know.
/ After u remove it, i suggest you download Zone Alarm. . that will ask you for permission before letting any programs do anything on your computer. It’s a frequent recommendation because it’s a problem preventer program:). .

OK this is a serious problem. Download these following programs1. Malwarebytes’ AntiMalware2. CCleaner3. New copy of your most used browserand follow the instructions on my blog. It helped me and a lot of other people, hope it works for you too. http://pcwhiz. WordPress. com
AV Security Suite is a fake anti-virus. 1. Press ctrl + shift + esc right after boot. 2. Look for garbage processes under task manager and kill them. Like ewtweotiwet. exe. 3. Go into IE (for FF it is similar), Tools-> Internet Options-> Connection-> LAN settings and remove proxy checkbox. 4. On Vista / 7 run start notepad Then enter in search box, do not press enter. Right Click once found, then choose run as administrator. On XP, launch it normaly. 5. Open this file: C: WindowsSystem32DriversEtcHosts and empty it. 6. (Optional) Open not in IE Tools-> Add-ons and remove everything that is from companies you do know. Now you should be able to browse and download software. Google processes killed in the 2nd step. If they are not listed as good, search for them on the disk and delete them. If you can not, just download spyware doctor and malware bytes or they should do that stuff for you. If you cannot launch the software, start them from within task manager. (New process, and enter full path to executable).
