The best way is the hard way: format the disk and clean install the system disk after the clone and save the image to someplace safe. Install a firewall, anti virus and restore the disk image if your pc goes wrong in the future. (Restoring using clone tool needs only 5 min or less) This is hard but easiest way for future. You can also download anti-virus / spyware scanners from other computers that can go to the internet. Install them in your infected computer, and scan / fix. Some are very nasty to remove spyware after you got infected. This is done by tapping F8 when you are booting up go to www. download. com and install FireFox web browser. If you are getting tons of pop ups and redirect, try to do it as quickly as possible. With FireFox installed you can now surf the internet without being hijacked for now. Next go to http://www. fix spyware. net and scan your computer at the website.
