I am currently running McAfee Internet Security Suite 2007. I want to buy Spyware Doctor just for spyware. If I download Spyware Doctor, will McAfee detect a third-party security program and remove it. Or can I just run both? One for spware and one for the rest?

McAfee should prompt you when you install the program. but you can tell it that the program is not a virus and it will allow the anti-spyware program to run normally. I run both a virus and a spyware protector protector so you should be fine running both.
You may have to set McAfee to allow the 3rd party program. Otherwise you should not have any problems.
If you have a licensed version of winXP, then you can get windows defender from microsoft for free. It is Good Enough anti-spyware program.
You are already paying a pretty good price for McAfee, why spend more money for Spyware Doctor, when a much better program is free? SpyBot Search & Destroy will do so much more than Spyware Doctor. You immunize your computer in SpyBot, against over 16.000 known pieces of spyware. Spyware Doctor can not do that. You’d have to tell you when TeaTimer is something going into or out of your registry, and you have the choice as to what you do with that information. Spyware Doctor can not do that. http://www. safer-networking. org /
In fact, I dont think spyware doctor is effective enough. Top 5 anti-spywares reviews, comparisons and download links on http://www. anti-spyware-center. infoYou can download and scan your computer for free.
