I’m looking at some of the sites that I visit regularly (several of which are forums that would NOT include this for advertising money), and I’ve noticed that words are sometimes hypertext links to other sites, very much advertisements. Is this something on my computer, and if it is, how do I fix this? my normal spyware and virus protection doesn’t seem to be fixing it. I don’t want these links.

I’m not sure what you are meaning exist when you say you see hypertext links should not that. . . where? It’s highly doubtful that you are on sites you normally visit and seeing a specific link changed to something malicious. Most likely you have turned on some setting that is highlighting words. . . Like a dictionary link. If you really suspect malware then it’s time to take a look at the security program (s) you use. You mentioned using AntiVirus and Spyware Protection Which tells me you probably are not using a proper security suite that includes complete protection and is from a reliable vendor (like mcafee or norton) so I would advise you to upgrade to a more reliable product and keep it properly configured and completely up to date. You can always check your security is working properly by going to a reliable vendor like Symantec site. com or TrendMicro. com and free web-based running their online scanner. Good Luck
