Chances are, you’re ok even with that one file there. I have noticed that sometimes Spybot wants to report something that can not be changed for some reason, searching a file as being imbedded inside another file which can not be altered. If your system is running O. K., you can probably just leave it as is. Have you tried pressing F8 as you boot up and going into safe mode to do your spyware scans, that’s a technique you should always use the malware So that won, t even get a chnace to start up and try to conceal itself.
You should not activate system restore. System restore undos your harmful changes into the system disk and files. Since a virus usually benign itself as a file system, once you delete it or delete its registry entry, it will still come back due to the system restore. Turn off system restore and update your Ad-Aware SE. Then delete all the traces of spyware. Once done, restart your computer and look how good turning off system restore can be. Um, you should turn system restore again after you deleted the virus. If you accidentally done something wrong to your PC, there’s no one there to save you.
I highly recommend you download super anti spyware. It will fix that problem. It is VERY VERY effective and it is free.
