Ok so I was on facebook when I get this inbox message from my friend. I go to view the message and see that it has a video attached to it. When I go to click on play a new window pops open and a virus is downloaded to my computer. Sounds crazy right? Well apparently his account may have been hacked into. Now I have a virus on my computer and all sorts of crazy pop ups with programs and stuff that I did not download. the computer does random stuff and according to the system it is only running on 10% computer knowledge. I dont know what to do. I go online and get a message that says windows has encountered a problem and must close. I dont know what to do. When i load up my computer it pops up a message that says- your computer has been infected with 100′s of of viruses that somone is using to track your personal data.
I am forced to unplug my interned wierless card and to use the computers at school instead. The system also says I was infected with worm win 32 from windowsand net sky was detected on my machine.
Is there a free ware spyware and virus protector that can help me scan for and remove all my viruses and spyware problems? Please. thanks

You should never ever open up a video link or anything like that that promises lots of good stuff. Especially on a site like FacebookYou seem to have some terrible malware and adware on your recommendation would be to download PCmy combo fixit’s a very useful, very powerful virus removal Coalite completely turns off all services and programs including Explorer. exe so it is very drastic, but in your case, I’d recommend using itit does not however, currently work on Windows 7

Here is malware (virus) fighting software that can be downloaded for free; http://www. malwarebytes. org / http: / / free. avg. com / us-en / homepage http: / / www. avast. com / free-antivirus-download that is kept here is a good download for cleaning your hard drive and keeping it well; http://www. ccleaner. com / These are all free and are used by me, They are great and will keep you virus free ~
Sounds like a rootkit virus it can hijack your browser but without any windows open it can send you to advertising sites, etc. These things can disable normal anti-viruses and anti-malware. Download “rootkit revealer” from Sysinternals or Microsoft and run it, go to task manager under processes and see if there is an oddnamed process sometimes just random letters and or numbers and end process. Then go to Start> Run and type in msconfig and click OK, look under the “startup” tab and uncheck the same process name if it appears there. The registry will need to be cleaned up but programs should be able to normally do that when you have disabled the rogue program. These things can disable anti-malware programs Recognised and system tools like Task Manager, so you may have to download or process explorer to kill process stop the process, so you need to rename the malwarebytes. exe file to, say for example, xxxx. exe or just copy it to the same folder when it wants to produce a copy called “Copy of…” and run that.
