today i bought Norton antivirus to help protect my computer because it said it had a spyware infection but now the infection is still my computer and i dont know how to get it off or wat to do…
also it tries to sell me an antivirus program and its getting very annoying!
how can i get it off my computer any advise???

Im sorry about your spyware infection and your purchase of Norton. I can help you get rid of your spyware infection, go and download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from www. downloads. com, download full install update scan. That should help. You can also try Spybot Search and Destroy.
Ignore it. It is a hoax. There are many websites they appear to scan your computer, but actually they are only running an animation on flash player. It is not your computer they are scanning. Next time it appears use Alt + F4 to close that window. Do not use mouse to close it. There is nothing wrong to keep the anti virus on your computer it will make it safer.
hello, i have experienced this virus before. I’m taking a guess here and thinking that it is trying to sell you something called “Anti-Spyware 2009?” and it pops up showing that you have lots of trojans and stuff? well if i am close, this virus is what is known as a “. rogue” these are very hard to get rid of because most well known anti-virus programs (such as Norton) do not remove them. a program that i have to use everytime i get rid of a rogue, is called SuperAntiSpyware. this program has a free version and i think it has a trial. this program gets rid of the virus you have all the time for me. Norton is pretty much a waste of money, since it really only gets rid of Trojans and other minor problems. when it comes to big problems like yours, try the small unknown programs. here ya gohttp: / / www.
