hey my computer has a spyware infection.. random spyware pops up and ask me to use but then it ask me to buy…
i try scanning with AVG and spy bot but it is not working.. they arent running period.. i try to uninstall and re install AVG but it fails since i did not follow up the installation with a restart which i did 5 mins later… spybot i was able to uninstall and reinstall but it still will not run
i used ad adware but it picked up alot of things but not the virus
plz help..
also i used mcAfree but it has become disable for some reason.. yes my subscription ended but it was still able to keep up firewall and spam killer and a virus scan..now they are all disable since i got that virus

You may need to take your computer to a shop like BestBuy and have them properly assess Whether the malware can be cleaned or Whether you need to reformat and reinstall everything. . . either way have them install the entire McAfee suite (antivirus, firewall, antispyware, etc) and Ensure it is properly configured and completely up to date. . . and the same goes for windows updates. . . then you will not have this happen again unless you start downloading freeware again. ps. mcafee was working and will always continue to work even if you do not keep your subscription up to date. .
