Yes. . Sorry no link. . its just in my brain but I’ll try to explain it to ya. A virus is basically like a program that is stored on your hard drive. So, when you reformat (put in the restore disk), its erases all of the programs and wipes the slate clean. . . then adds it back on everything that came from the factory. . Which of course, does not include the virus.
That would work, but do not give up like that to fast! What I would recommend doing is going to www. avast. com and downloading the Avast Home Edition from that site then scanning your computer for any infections! Believe me it works!
