yesterday after my question on hre i downloaded spybot which cleaned my pc ofa few tings, but since then its been acting range again, computer has slowed down, crashed, someimes the desktop icons dissapered for few seconds then come back,even my desktop image has changed to say im at risk!!! it says my privacy is at risk and everything has gone back to how it was yesterday for redirections etc. does anyone know an anti virus/anti spyware that is this problem? please help me, im worried im going to lose everything on my pc which s of great importance, photos etc. loadsa music, please please help me!!

Try running a system restore before any of this started happening. Programs, Accesories, System Tools, System Restore. Pick a date from the list when all was working fine! It will take your computer back to the configuration it had methane (and remove all viruses, spyware, etc). Tact any programs installed so will be gone, but hard data such as music, photos, etc will be kept in. The process is reversible so if worse comes to worse. If the system restore can not perform the action, it will give you a notice at the end. But do not listen to people who says cannot remove this virus. I have used it many times. The only problem is that you do not have enough restore points to go back and make the restoration. In that case, I would say I download AVG Free OR Avast. AVG has taken care of all my viruses with success (including spyware, adware, viruses, etc). I even had AVG get rid of the problem you are encountering now. I got it from a website and put it up all these fake security warnings and this big overlay on my desktop with scroll bars on each side. It did take a few days AVG to get rid of it all It did it piece by piece and required several reboots.
