This is kind of embarrassing but I was look at some at some adult content off of links from reddit.com and I just kept going. Eventually my computer stopped me from visiting a page. Later I noticed that my wallpaper had been changed. I have tried downloading things but there is a certain file or something that i for some reason I can’t do things. I can’t use the scroller thing on the side of my mouse pad. I’d rather not tell my parents about this because i am 15 so please help me!!! I need to know how to remove this and fast because i do online schooling.
Thanks how do i do a reformat?
I tried booting in safe mode but i had no idea what i was looking for. In my user that has the spyware, it won’t let me use the taskmanager and it often says my browser isn’t responding. please help.
Would you guys recommend malwarebytes or should I buy spyware doctor?

I was using my internet, when it randomly shut down and now I am constantly getting notices from XP Anti-virus Pro saying that I am infected with spyware and there are 29 infections. It gives me the option to remove them, but I need to buy the software for around $50.00 in order to remove it. I could use recommendations for free spyware removal sites, and also my firewall and security were disabled when my internet crashed. I disconnected my computer from the internet, (currently using a different one), because I heard that these viruses can spread through internet and programs like AIM. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have these ad’s called “think-ads” that keep popping up and not only that there is a white x in a red circle at the bottom right on my computer that keeps saying my computer is infected and has detected spyware infection. And says windows will now download and install the most up-to-date antispyware for me, but nothing comes up. what is the best to download that will help with all kinds of viruses (including worms, trojan viruses, etc.). when i log in to my computer, there is a red circle with a white x through it that says:

Your computer is is infected!
Windows has detected spyware infection!

the sign comes up when i ever i put the mouse over the red circle with the white x. it apparently downloaded something called PC Security 2009 to my Program Files. i tried deleting the folder, but it says that the program is in use and cant be deleted.

it happened 2 days ago. then stopped. then it came back again today.

what do i do?
