I have seen that people have asked about this and I know that the error message is actually spyware, I just dont know how to get rid of it. I ran two antispyware programs and they found tons of spyware and removed it but it is still there. The main problem I have is that I cant get onto the internet and I think its because of it so I cant download any antivirus.
I know its spyware, I said that. Im trying to get rid of it. I have norton but I have to download it because I bought it from a different cpu. I just want to know if there is a chick fix
I cant go to any of those websites on the infected computer because it doesnt go online

I basically just keep getting a message warning me that i have spyware infection and demands i install windows anti virus.

I scanned my computer with McAfee, but nothing came up as infected or any detection. Should i be worried? if so how do i get rid of it?

This is kind of embarrassing but I was look at some at some adult content off of links from reddit.com and I just kept going. Eventually my computer stopped me from visiting a page. Later I noticed that my wallpaper had been changed. I have tried downloading things but there is a certain file or something that i for some reason I can’t do things. I can’t use the scroller thing on the side of my mouse pad. I’d rather not tell my parents about this because i am 15 so please help me!!! I need to know how to remove this and fast because i do online schooling.

I tried booting in safe mode but i had no idea what i was looking for. In my user that has the spyware, it won’t let me use the taskmanager and it often says my browser isn’t responding. please help.

There’s a little thing at the bottom of my tool bar that says “Your computer is infected, Windows has detected a spyware infection!” It tries to download some ‘anti spyware’ but when it downloads, I get a Trojan Horse Virus. How do I get rid of the spyware???

A few days ago my PC got the spy/malware “Spyware Protect 2009″ I’ve since then gotten rid of that but i’m having a few problems. i can’t open malware bytes so i unistalled and then redownloaded and it won’t get to the actual installing portion when i click on the downloaded file. also i keep on hearing audio that’s basically advertising but i have no windows open so when i open up the task manager i see the process of “iexplorer” open and after i end it the audio stops and may appear a few hours and a restart later. what else could be causing this and how would i go about fixing it.

I’m currently running avg anti-virus to try and fix it and it has found an infection “Trojan horse PSW.Generic7.jk” so that may remove it?
I also have avira running, which is how i beat the original infection.

Ok i know i have an adssite infection because on the top of the pop up it says “sponsered by Adssite”. And i alaso know i have a CONTEXTADVISOR infection. For same reason.
Here is what i have been doing.
1.Unplug my computer from the internet
2.Delte cookies history ETC.
3.Run super antispware/And or AVG spyware(not freeEdition) and a virsu scan
4.Whatever comes up as a threat i delete and or quarintine.
5.Then my infection is still there.

If you know how to help this please do so thanks……
And BTW i am good with computers so i know what i am doing lol.

My computer was recently infected with a program called Mister Magoo – the program file is called mightymagoo.exe. It’s causing pop ups on google and craigslist, “highlighted” search words that lead to their scammy sites, and random noises (like i’m getting an IM).
Norton Antivirus Scan didn’t find anything..

Can anyone PLEASE help me?

i hope this catches his attention- its not very subtle.hehe. Well if you can see this malware_expert i want to thank you for your link, i bought the package (xoft spy se) and it really worked, so thank you thank you thank you! the icons have gone from my desktop, but i still get a little click here to remove possible spyware strip at the top of my web browser- how do i get rid of it? or do i just have to put up with it? thanks again! and thanks if anyone else can help to! x
