I got a spyware infection on my laptop and now it shuts down when i log on… help?

I was trying to find an episode of the office and i got a spyware infection from a website. I didnt download anything and i made sure i didnt click on any pop ups. Anyway, my desktop background changed to this pathetic message telling me that the websites i have visited may ruin my life if people find out. Then some spyware program i have never downloaded came up and started scanning my laptop. I “ctrl+alt+delete”‘d and i exited the program cause i didnt wanna click on anything. Then my laptop turned off because my lead came out and my battery is fried (its already fucked).

Anyway, now everytime i log on the computer loads up and and goes to the desktop but then after about 1 minuete, it logs off and restarts.

What can i do?

More importantly, i have some new photo’s on there i need (im a photographer) for my portfolio and those are my only copies… HELPPPP

Thankyou.

XP adware/spyware problem and can’t system restore?

Picked up a bug. I get ads in IE – not pop-ups – my system is going to gambling/ringtone/dating sites. I discovered some new files in start-up and deleted them but I have a (I think) releated “System32.dll” file that I can’t remove. I also have a problem with IE needing to close quite often. Can’t do a system restore either – won’t work. I may also have deleted something I should have kept! Thanks for any help.

I have a spyware problem and trojan virus’. McAfee cant delete, clean or quarantine them. what next?

I have “memory trojan name” and “trojan name” virus’. mcafee found them but cant clean, delete or quarantine them. what do i do? also i get these random pop ups that say my computer is infected with spyware. i think fixing the trojans would fix this. what do i do?

Trojan/malware/spyware problem, any suggestions?

I downloaded a stupid torrent program yesterday, and immediately i’m getting a ton of pop-ups saying oh no your computer’s infected, you are at risk, trojan detected, etc. I tried a few malware, spyware, and virus programs. I have 2 realtime programs keeping the crap from popping up, but the infection is still there. The program I have requires payment to remove.

Can anyone suggest a FREE program for getting rid of this trash?

can you help me with my MS Antivirus (the spyware) problem?

My pc was attacked by the malaware MS Antivirus. I tried to manually delete it, remove its registry values and dll files as well. My pc was able to recover: no more pop-ups, etc. The spyware diabled my screensaver, desktop background, startup menu, etc. I was able to restore those though.

I now have two problems:

1. I can’t update my Norton 2008 Anti-virus. I tried to go to the Symantec website but I could not. I have a disabled AVG Free Edition as well but when I tried to update it, it couldn’t. I tried to download Kaspersky but I couldn’t open the Kaspersky download site, which is the same case that happened with Norton and Avg’s websites. I find it weird coz I can open internet sites other than antivirus and antispyware websites.

2. I can’t go online Y!Messenger. Whenever I log in, it says: “System is Busy. Please try a little bit later.”

Norton and AVG says there is no virus in my pc. My PCDefender says I am spyware-free. What do you think is my problem?

P.S. After deleting MS Antivirus, there was an instance where my PC was led to www.msantivirusxp.com but was blocked by my Norton. (I’m not sure if this is the correct name of the site though.)

Thank you for any ideas.

Help!!! A Malware (or Spyware) problem in my computer?

Hi, i have a LG desktop computer and it is infected with malware (or spyware) virus because it always pop-ups an antivirus program. I thinks it’s a spam program it says your computer is infected with virus always pop-ups everytime and it annoys me.

It always warns me about the threat of internet and it always blocks it. I uninstalled from the computer and also removed it from the add/remove programs section too but still it pops-up and slows down the computer. The fraud antivirus program is callad (Winibluesoft).

What do you think i should do? Should I re-install windows or re-format the hard drive? Also have a problem when trying to re-install the xp disc from my computer it displays like this:

( No valid system partitions were found. Setup is unable to continue). What does that mean? How do you reformat a Hard Drive plz help? I want to get rid of this virus fast?
I have already downloaded Malwarebytes it’s also blocking that program and it doesn’t start up when i click on it.
