There’s a triangle symbol displayed in system tray, with message saying “Windows has detected Spyware infection” and a message pops out saying ” POTENTIAL SPYWARE OPERATION. YOUR COMPUTER IS MAKING UNAUTHORISED COPY OF DATA IN PC AND INTERNET FILES AND DOWNLOAD SPYWARE REMOVER”. Control panel, Add or remove programs, system information, etc are forbidden and I have lost access to these even though I am the only one using my PC and there is no other administrator

THis is a maul software bug that keeps getting smarter. Try to restore back to a day before you got the bug. THis is the only way so far I have found to remove it. I had restored several computers to get this out. I have one right now that I am having to do a full restore to new to get it out. Make sure you back everything up before restoring. This bug is so smart that it will not even let you go to a computer go Microsft web site.
That’s most likely a Smitfraud infection. Best way to remove Smitfraud is to run the SmitFraudFix in safe mode and follow it up with Super Antispyware (ie in safe mode) to remove any other malware that may have gotten in. I completely agree with heebus. Run SmitFraudFix and Super AntiSpyware. I would then do a full antivirus scan – the chances are probably a trojan installed oringially this Smitfraud – update your antivirus and do a full scan, then maybe do some online scans with Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Housecall, etc. If you do not have of anti-virus, then download and run Avira AntiVir PE Classic. It is free and extremely good. Good luck.
