HELP! “Your computer is infected! Windows has detected spyware infection!” PLEASE HELP ME GET RID OF THIS!?
i have a red circle with a white “X” in the middle of it in my toolbar on the bottom right hand side
when i hover over it, a bubble says “Your computer is infected! Windows has detected spyware infection!”
also, on my internet explorer, when i try to click some links, it sends me to a completely different website.
also, it says that my Task Manager (ctrl+alt+del) has been blocked by the administrator, when i havent done anything.
please help, i tried running Adaware and Spybot, but so far its not working.

shut down, turn on pc, press F8 like a maniac, start up windows in safe mode with networking, and then it’ll give you an option to restore your computer to earlier date to when your computer was working properly, then go ahead and do that, if that does not work you might have to purchase spydoctor, it’s like 50 or 70 bucks.
download smit fraud and MalAware bytes and super antispyware. Run smitfraud in safe mode then in normal MalAware bytes along with SuperAntiSpyware. Turn on your console and play some games
